Surgery planned around you
Plastic surgery is a personal decision, and the right result is one that suits your face, body and goals. Prof. Muhammad Rizwan Aslam is a consultant plastic surgeon with fellowships in both general surgery and plastic surgery, and a life member of the Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons (PAPS).
Your consultation covers what you would like to change, whether surgery is the right option, the risks and recovery, and what result is realistic. You will never be pressured into a procedure.
Cosmetic procedures
Rhinoplasty (nose reshaping)
Refines the size, shape or profile of the nose, corrects a hump or crooked nose, and can improve breathing at the same time.
Liposuction and body contouring
Removes stubborn fat from the abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, back and chin that doesn't respond to diet and exercise. Liposuction shapes the body; it is not a weight-loss treatment.
Tummy tuck (abdominoplasty)
Removes loose skin and tightens the abdominal muscles, often after pregnancy or major weight loss.
Gynecomastia surgery
Reduces enlarged breast tissue in men for a flatter, firmer chest, usually with liposuction and small incisions.
Breast surgery
Breast reduction, lift and augmentation, planned to suit your frame and goals.
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)
Removes excess upper eyelid skin or lower eyelid bags for a fresher, less tired look.
Dimpleplasty
A short procedure under local anaesthetic that creates natural-looking cheek dimples through a small incision inside the mouth, with no visible scar.
Reconstructive surgery
Prof. Rizwan also treats scars, burns, skin cancers and injuries, and has special interests in microsurgery and brachial plexus (nerve) surgery. Scar revision and removal of moles, cysts and lipomas are performed as day procedures.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if I am a good candidate for surgery?
Good candidates are in reasonable health, don't smoke or are willing to stop, and have realistic expectations. Prof. Rizwan will assess you at consultation and recommend non-surgical options where they are more suitable.
How long is the recovery?
It depends on the procedure. Dimpleplasty and small day procedures need a few days, while rhinoplasty, liposuction and tummy tuck typically need 1 to 3 weeks before returning to work, with full healing taking longer. You will get a personal recovery plan.
Will there be scars?
All surgery leaves some scar, but incisions are planned in natural creases or hidden areas wherever possible, and most fade significantly over 12 to 18 months. Some procedures, such as dimpleplasty, leave no visible scar.
Is liposuction a way to lose weight?
No. Liposuction is best for shaping areas of stubborn fat when you are close to your ideal weight. A healthy diet and exercise remain important for long-lasting results.
Do you offer before and after photos?
We can show examples of previous results at your consultation, shared only with patients' consent. Every person's anatomy is different, so results vary.
