Laser hair removal
Long-term reduction of unwanted hair on the face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini area, back and chest, for women and men. Hair grows in cycles, so a course of 6 to 8 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart, is usually needed, followed by occasional top-ups. Laser hair removal is also an effective treatment for ingrown hairs and razor bumps.
Acne scar laser resurfacing
Fractional laser treatment stimulates new collagen to smooth pitted and rolling acne scars and improve texture. Several sessions are needed, and it is often combined with microneedling or PRP.
Pigmentation and sun damage
Laser and light treatments for sun spots, freckles and uneven tone, used carefully alongside creams and sun protection. Melasma is treated cautiously, as some lasers can make it worse.
Skin rejuvenation
Gentle laser sessions to improve dullness, fine lines and open pores, with little downtime.
What a laser session involves
- Consultation and patch test. We check your skin type, medical history and medicines, and test a small area if needed.
- Preparation. For hair removal, shave the area the day before. Avoid waxing, threading and sun tanning for 4 weeks beforehand.
- Treatment. Protective eyewear is worn, and cooling is used for comfort. Small areas take a few minutes; larger areas take longer.
- Aftercare. Mild redness usually settles within hours. Daily sunscreen is essential between sessions.

Does laser hair removal hurt?
Most people describe it as a quick snapping or warm feeling. Cooling during treatment keeps it comfortable, and sensitivity usually decreases as the course goes on.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser gives long-term hair reduction rather than guaranteed permanent removal. Most patients see a large reduction after a full course, with any regrowth finer and lighter. Occasional maintenance sessions may be needed, especially where hair growth is hormonal.
Is laser safe for darker skin?
Yes, when the right laser and settings are used. This is why your treatment is planned by a dermatologist and we patch test when needed.
Can I have laser in summer?
Yes, as long as you avoid tanning and use sunscreen daily on the treated area. Recently tanned skin has a higher risk of side effects, so treatment may be postponed until the tan fades.
Does laser work on white or grey hair?
Laser targets dark pigment in the hair, so it works poorly on white, grey, red or very light blonde hair. Your doctor will tell you if another option is better.
